I think it is a natural thing for a Mother to want a little girl of her own, and a father to have his son.
On January 1oth I got her. My perfect daughter. How could I ever be more fulfilled with joy? She is beautiful from each fuzzy blonde hair to the bottom of her little feet...and now she sick.
Every day since we have found this line has been one more day to be thankful for. My dear friend Shell recently told me how you are just so amazed at your child when they go through something like this, and believe me she would know. I see how different her and her husband are than many other couples; they have such a strong Christian relationship. She has been a great support for us right now.
There is no way to know your reaction to the challenges life brings. I never thought I could be this strong of a person, but I honestly believe that we go through things so that we can help someone else go through a similar situation when they need strength, like Shelley did for me.
Many old friends have called to comfort me and give me reassurance that she will be prayed for. That support really has been appreciated, and much needed. Thank you to everyone who has called or sent e-mails to check on Baby Bailynn. I will try my best to keep the blog updated. But, for now please just admire our precious Bailynn Kennedy, she has such a face full of Grace.

...and maybe a bit of drool!
