Family Fun at the Park

As sad as it is to admit, this was H's FIRST park play day. I know, I know, how horrible. He is 14 months old and just now seeing his first swing set. This is what happens when you leave your car in storage and are always pregnant.

To say he had fun, is an understatement. You can just see the pure joy in his face during every shot. I think Russ had as much fun as H did! Bailynn and I hung out in the Baby Bjorn, her not me, and we tried to enjoy the warm, but breezy day. She really has started to watch Harrison and he is getting more interested in her as well.

Here are quite a few shots, I guess I could have done another slide show, but sometimes you just need longer than two seconds to see how beautiful our little family fun days truly are!!

Please excuse all of the shadows...we don't have a flash that is big enough to fix those just yet! Remember to click on each picture to make it more clear!

...here comes all the comments:

Oh, What a fun day!
Family Photo Op...realizing that this is the way our pictures will now look. It is hard enough trying to keep H attentive, while keeping your eyes open and not blinking, and trying to sit the baby up without making her cry from the sunlight in her little eyes, oh goodness, how fun that all was! Haha! Wow, how things have changed.

It was a fabulous day for us at the park, as you can probably tell. And, we have already been back a few times since I finally got this posted.

Playtime in March

Like most days, here we are playing in the house. It is so cold outside, still, but we are very excited to have had some decent weather this past week.

Our outings with both babies are fairly simple, unless H misses a nap! Then it is always a blast to see how he is going to repay us. B is pretty easy to handle in the carseat (as long as she has a full belly and clean diaper). Feeding her in the car is a bit of a hassle, but we get it done and move along with out errands. She does like for me to talk to her while she is riding, and she just smiles! She is already a great shopping partner! H on the other hand, is constantly trying to get everyone in the store to look and smile at him, and tell him he is soooo cute! Ha! Too funny! He has it down now. I love to watch him notice someone new coming up, he gets his smile ready, and waites for them to notice him. His face just lights up if they smile back, or make ANY slight clue that they see him. But, if they just walk past, he drops his BIG grin to the saddest little face I have ever seen. It hurts his feelings, poor guy...but then he sees someone else and it starts over!! He is just so sweet to watch every minute.

Cheesin'Look at those eyelashes lady!!
H acting silly, always!
Sparkling blue eyes
Yay!! For shopping!!!

Snow Day...Again

So, if you have a t.v. or even turn it on, then you would know that this week has been a blast living in New England. We got another snow storm. Woohoo! I am selfishly hoping it was the last one. But, H might not agree. He and Daddy have been playing, playing, playing in the snow. We were all on a family trip to our favorite, none other than The Grocery Store, and the men had to get out and play in some snow in the parking lot. This was a section, off to the side, that had fresh powder and it had not been plowed. When we got him out and set him in it, he sank down to his shins! I think this time he really understood what the snow was....as much as a one year old can understand! Last time, in our family Christmas shot, it was our first time to introduce snow and he was sooo confused. Look how much fun we had while B took a little nap!

About to get out in the snow!
BrrrHappy Harrison
Whoa! Where did my little feet go?Crawling in the snow!

Me and the parents

Daddy and H went out to play again today, and Russ videoed it. I'm not making ANY promises, since it always falls through, but MAYBE we can upload it (if it will work) and you can see it.

Holland sent me a gift!

Holland, Crystal and Daniel sent H a birthday gift, and he absolutely loves it! I have yet to see my child sqeal at any toy and bounce in excitement, but this one did it...it is totally hilarious. It is fair to say he enjoys his new gift. Here he is playing...try to imagine him waving his hands, sqealing, and bouncing up and down, because that is what he was doing.

This past week...

Our fabulous brand new Dell PC has been on vacation. It would not recognize the drive that uploads the pictures, hence the pause in blogging. Hopefully, it is better now that it got a break.

Here are just a few shots I grabbed of what went on this past week. Sadly, I missed a MAJOR milestone for H, though...tear. He had his FIRST IHOP PANCAKE MEAL this Saturday morning. It was just so much fun to order for him off of the kid's menu, and HE COLORED!!! Of course, he ate part if the non-toxic crayons first, but once he figured it out he loved it. I was so impressed. I know Miss Kinsey Anne is quite the artist, but this was H's first time and I believe she would be proud of his work! So sorry we left the camera...with all of the bustle of getting out the door! Maybe next trip to the Hop!

More SNOW!!! (please go AWAY!) We woke this morning to lots of snow outside H' s room. It started yesterday and has been falling constantly. I guess it is nice, hopefully for the last time this season, but the snow-plow trucks are waking both babies, therefore, making it hard for me to appreciate the beauty! H obviously loves it, and we are going to play in it today when Daddy gets home!
B's first time trying out the Bjorn...she liked to look all around the house!
Then...she fell asleep.

New clothes for springtime..these are his adorable designer jeans from H&M, and his linen shirt.
